For spring summer 2017, the Parisian brand Comptoir des Cotonniers remains true to itself with a poetic and feminine collection. Suede skirt, sailor , high-waisted jeans and fluid dress: the claw embellishes our wardrobes basic and sophisticated clothing.

The pieces in the collection revolve around fluid cuts and textured materials, while monochrome, powder pink and navy blue tones glide over light blouses and pleated skirts. Relaxed and loose cuts that are also evident with the comeback of the tailor and his XXL trousers for a nonchalant look.

Conversely, some pieces of the collection are worn bent if nothing. A 180 degree turn that we take without complaint: a floral dress , a long mohair vest, all tied with a belt at the waist, for a look more feminine than ever.

A modern and poetic video campaign

Faithful to the notion of transmission, the brand breaks free from the traditional concept of mothers / daughters and goes on to meet the talent made in France. In a short video, Comptoir des Cotonniers reveals the unique know-how of two artists: one is a designer, the other is a floral artist.

The video is staged first, Julie Lansom, designer. As a child, she watched the hands of her grandmothers, one silk spinner, the other knitter. As an adult, she is inspired by these gestures to create her own, the one who makes her weave her multicolored threads, thus creating refined and modern lighting. Then, the short film unveils the creator of a Parisian flower shop, shaping branches and flowers of Clementine with grace.

The chic and casual pieces of the collection are perfectly adapted to the lifestyle of the two young women. Trench , denim shirt, sailor and trouser suit invade the locker room of the active woman. With these two portraits, Comptoir des Cotonniers paints the modern woman: bold, overflowing, but always elegant.
