25 cl of Light Fleurette 5% Elle & Vire
4 egg yolks 1 whole egg
25 cl of semi skimmed milk
1 roll of puff pastry
30 g of Maïzena

1 vanilla pod

Steps

Step 1

Pour the milk and light Fleurette 5% Elle & Vire in a saucepan.

Add the split vanilla bean and the lemon zest.

Heat to a boil and remove the pan from the heat. Cover and reserve until completely cooled.

Filter everything. Then add cornstarch and sugar.

Add the eggs and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (th7).

Step 3

Spread the puff pastry in small muffin cups and spread the mixture.

Cook for 15 minutes maximum.

Step 4

Remove the Pastéis de Nata from the oven and let cool.

Sprinkle with icing sugar or cinnamon.

tips

The lemon peel can be replaced by the orange zest and vanilla by a cardamom seed.
