L'Occitane launches a solidarity balm

L'Occitane reinvents its mythic shea butter balm and creates a delicious balm with a violet scent that nourishes both the lips and the body. In its packaging inspired by the traditional African fabric Wax, it pays tribute to the 17,000 Burkinabé women who work every day to develop shea and ensure the international success of the range. But the L'Occitane Foundation has also been involved since 2006 in projects favoring women leadershipp in Burkina Faso . Access to education, micro-credit, support and support for entrepreneurship, the Provençal brand strives to ensure that these women achieve independence on the same basis as men. Thanks to this Baume Solidaire , L'Occitane supports the UN Gender Equality Fund: all proceeds will go to the UN entity.

L'Occitane: a committed brand

Through its Foundation, L'Occitane is mobilizing itself alongside the United Nations to promote access to education for women in Burkina Faso. The goal: to develop strong reading, writing and numeracy skills. L'Occitane also develops other projects such as "Unite pour la vue" and solidarity products are marketed every year.
